Fully managed IT

One flat monthly fee. Your whole IT setup, handled.

Small and mid-sized businesses shouldn’t need a full-time IT department to have technology that works. Our all-inclusive plans give you a team of engineers, unlimited helpdesk support and predictable pricing that makes budgeting simple.

We don’t wait for things to break. Proactive monitoring spots failing drives, full disks, missed updates and suspicious logins early, and most of the time we fix them before anyone in your office notices.

Getting started

Switching IT providers, without the headache

Moving to a new IT company is a planned project, not a leap of faith. Here’s what your first month with us looks like.

  1. Step 1: Discovery

We document every user, device, app and account, so your IT stops living in one person’s head.

  2. Step 2: Baseline

Security settings and patching policies go onto every computer, the same way, every time.

  3. Step 3: Protect and monitor

Monitoring and endpoint detection (EDR) switch on, so we catch problems before your staff notice.

  4. Step 4: 30-day review

We walk you through what we found, what we fixed and what we recommend next. No jargon.

Why Ctrl Alt Networks

More than a typical IT provider

Most managed service providers cover the basics: helpdesk, monitoring, backups. We do too, plus the things that make the difference day to day.

Our engineers visit proactively, not only when something’s already broken. We’re local to Metro Vancouver.

FAQ

Questions business owners ask us

Can't find your question? Call us or send a message and a real person will get back to you.

What does a managed IT service provider do?

A managed IT service provider (MSP) takes care of your business technology for a monthly fee. That means answering your staff’s IT questions, keeping computers patched and protected, monitoring your network, managing Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, running backups and planning upgrades. Instead of paying someone each time something breaks, you pay a predictable amount to keep things from breaking.

How much do managed IT services cost?

Our plans are a flat monthly fee, mostly based on how many people and devices we look after, and they include unlimited helpdesk support. Projects like office moves or migrations are quoted separately and up front. Book a free IT review and we’ll give you an exact price for your business.

Do you offer on-site IT support in Vancouver?

Yes. Most requests are fixed remotely because that’s fastest, but our engineers come on site across Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Delta, Langley, White Rock, Maple Ridge and Abbotsford whenever hands-on work is needed. Managed clients also get regular proactive visits.

We already have an IT person. Can you still help?

Absolutely. With co-managed IT we support your in-house person with helpdesk overflow, security tools, monitoring, projects and a second opinion, so they aren’t on call alone.

How quickly can you get started?

After a short discovery call, onboarding usually starts with documenting your users, devices and accounts. Security baselines and monitoring follow, and we review everything with you after 30 days.
