Microsoft 365 support and migration in Surrey

Microsoft 365 can run almost everything a growing Surrey business needs, from email and files to Teams calls and device security, but only if it's set up properly. We migrate you, license each role sensibly, lock it down and manage it from here on.

Microsoft 365 for growing Surrey businesses

A lot of Surrey companies grew into Microsoft 365 one decision at a time. A few mailboxes were set up when the business started, someone added licences as people joined, files ended up spread between OneDrive, a shared drive and personal accounts, and nobody ever looked at the security settings. It works, until a mailbox is hacked, a departing employee takes files with them or the licence bill stops making sense.

Our Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace services take that setup, whatever state it’s in, and turn it into something organised, secure and documented. Office 365 migration and management for Surrey businesses is one of the most common projects we run.

Migrations we handle

  • Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, including mail, calendars, contacts and Drive files.
  • Microsoft 365 bought through a reseller or web host, moved to a setup you control.
  • Older Exchange servers and hosted email (POP or IMAP accounts) that have reached the end of the road.
  • Several separate tenants left behind by mergers or new locations, brought together under one company account.

Every migration is staged so people keep working: data is copied ahead of time, the switch happens at a quiet time, and we check every mailbox and phone afterwards.

Shared mailboxes and Teams for busy front desks

Surrey’s transport, logistics and service businesses run on shared inboxes like dispatch, orders and bookings. We set these up as proper shared mailboxes with the right people given access, instead of one password passed around the office. Teams channels give the office, the yard and drivers one place to coordinate, and the mobile apps keep people in the loop wherever they are.

Licensing that fits each role

Role Typical plan Why
Drivers, warehouse and yard staff Microsoft 365 F3 Email and Teams on a phone or tablet, at a frontline price
Office staff who work in the browser Microsoft 365 Business Basic Email, Teams, OneDrive and the web versions of the apps
Office staff who need desktop Office apps Microsoft 365 Business Standard Adds the full desktop apps
Anyone handling sensitive data, and admins Microsoft 365 Business Premium Adds device management and stronger security controls

Plans can be mixed within one company. We review licences at every quarterly check-in, so you aren’t paying for seats or features nobody uses.

Secure from day one

A compromised Microsoft 365 account can expose email, files and payments in one go, and multilingual, fast-moving teams are frequent phishing targets. Every tenant we manage gets multi-factor authentication for every user, protection against risky sign-ins and old sign-in methods, email authentication so criminals can’t easily impersonate your domain, alerts for suspicious forwarding rules, and a separate backup of mail and files. For wider protection, see our Surrey cybersecurity services and our guide to multi-factor authentication.

FAQ

Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace Services in Surrey: common questions

Can't find your question? Call us or send a message and a real person will get back to you.

Is Office 365 the same as Microsoft 365?

Mostly, yes. In 2020 Microsoft renamed its Office 365 business plans to Microsoft 365. The familiar apps, Outlook email, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint are all still there. Whichever name your plan uses, we migrate, manage and secure it the same way.

We bought Microsoft 365 through our web host. Can you take it over?

Yes. Plans bought through a web host or domain registrar often leave the reseller in control of key admin settings. We move you to a setup you fully control, carefully and without losing email, then manage it from there.

Do our warehouse and driver staff need full licences?

Not always. Frontline plans give staff email and Teams on a phone or tablet at a lower cost than a full desktop licence. We look at what each role actually does and recommend the plan that covers it, so you don't pay for apps nobody opens.
